A slowdown in the UK housing market has continued after peaking in the summer, according to Nationwide.
Annual house price growth slowed for the second consecutive month in October, falling from 9.4% in September to 9%.
The British Bankers’ Association said home loans fell from 39,172 in September to 37,076 in October, which was the lowest since May last year.
