House prices are given a lift by royal weddings and births, according to research by My Home Move.
Price rose by 1.55% on the month in April 2011, the month Prince William and Kate Middleton got married. The increase was the highest in 12 months. The marriage of the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall coincided with an increase of 1.42% in house prices.
Prices rose by more than one percent when Prince George and Princess Charlotte were born.
