Housing minister Gavin Barwell told housebuilders yesterday to come and see him if they were having problems finding land on which to build.
Barwell told housebuilders that if they were having trouble finding land in parts of the country, he would raise the issues with the relevant local authorities.
The government is committed to releasing sufficient land on which to build 160,000 homes, he said.
