Housing scheme brings Panacea to Sheffield

Manchester-based Panacea Property Development has submitted plans for the next phase of its Well Meadow regeneration development in Sheffield city centre.

Two buildings will deliver 284 build-to-rent homes, comprising 133 two-bedroom flats, 139 one-bedroom flats, and 12 studios.

Phase I of the mixed-use development – 305 fully occupied student beds – was delivered in September 2016 in joint venture with Worthington Properties.

Panacea managing director Gareth Riddell said: “Sheffield’s residential rental offer will undoubtedly be enhanced by purpose built, high quality build-to-rent accommodation within this area of the city.”

The scheme is designed by architects MCAU and Leach Rhodes Walker. Zerum advised on planning.
