UBS this week announced the appointment of Robert Houston as senior adviser and chair of three of its UK property funds.
The company alsorevealed that Cliff Hawkins, chairman of its UK property fund management business, is to retire in March next year.
Houston recently left his role as global head at ING Real Estate Investment Management to start an advisory firm, St Bride’s Strategic Advisers.
Hewill chair the investment committee which oversees the UBS Triton Fund, UBS South East Recovery Fund and UBS Secure Income Fund.
The £1.3bn Triton fund was hit by more than £100m of redemptions this year after four of UBS’s top fund managers left the company.
