The Howard de Walden Estate has appointed Laura Jockers as its new head of sustainability.
In her new role, Jockers will be responsible for developing the 92-acre estate’s sustainability strategy.
She joins Howard de Walden from JLL, where she was the global sustainability and research lead for more than six years.
Prior to this, she was an associate director in JLL’s upstream sustainability services team for nearly seven years.
Mark Kildea, interim chief executive at the Howard de Walden Estate, said: “Laura’s appointment further strengthens the business’s commitment to its environmental objectives. It follows the appointment of Ashley Cox as head of customer engagement, and is part of an ongoing strategy to improve all sustainability, community and regulatory aspects of the estate’s operations.”
Jockers added: “Defining our pathway to net zero carbon and supporting our communities in adapting to Covid-19 will be key focus points this year.”
