Howdens Joinery has agreed a 13-year lease at investment services group SEB’s 40 Portman Square, W1.
The kitchens and bathrooms firm has agreed a sub-let with GMR International for 14,000 sq ft, with an eight month rent-free period. It is understood to be paying around £67.50 per sq ft.
Howdens is moving from International House, 66 Chiltern Street, W1, where its parent Galiform leases around 5,000 sq ft.
BNP Paribas advised the tenant; GMR International was represented by BDG Sparkes Porter and Knight Frank.
