HS2 has rejected nearly half of the applications to sell homes submitted under its need to sell scheme.
Of the 317 applications made by the end of July, 151, or 48%, were rejected. Some 101 applications are still under review.
Under the scheme, those people with a compelling reason to sell their homes, but unable to do so because of HS2, can apply to sell them. A previous scheme saw 65% of applications rejected.
