HS2 has unveiled its scaled-down plans for the redevelopment of Euston Station.
The plans will extend the construction period by seven years to limit passenger disruption and will fall short of the wholesale revamp originally envisaged.
Instead, 11 new platforms would be built in two stages, six of which would service the first phase of the high-speed line to Birmingham and complete by 2026.
A further five platforms for phase two of the line to Leeds and Manchester would be delivered by 2033.
The plans will be considered by parliament next week.
