HSBC spin-off clinches three shed deals

 


HSBC spin-off Infrared Capital Partners has completed three deals for its growing industrial portfolio.


 


The fund manager has exchanged on the purchase of a 164,000 sq ft unit in Magna Park, Lutterworth in the East Midlands.


 


In Germany the business recently acquired two units with combined 300,000 sq ft based in Munich-Unterschleissheim and Hamburg-Allermoehe from international real estate company Redevco.


 


The acquisitions were performed by InfraRed’s European real estate team and form part of its strategy to systematically build portfolios of well-located logistics assets in both the UK and Germany.


 


With these transactions InfraRed has acquired over 2.3m sq ft of industrial units since October 2010.


 


In January 2011 InfraRed also commenced the development funding of the 1m sq ft Amazon distribution unit in Dunfermline, Scotland.
