HUB and pan-European real estate investment manager Mark have received planning approval from Birmingham City Council for a 462-home build-to-rent tower.
The 42-storey, Metropolitan Workshop-designed scheme will replace a vacant commercial property at 2 Snowhill Plaza in central Birmingham.
It will provide 6,500 sq ft of public open space alongside extensive planting, seating and cycle storage.
The development will be delivered in line with Birmingham’s Future City Plan.
Brad Burridge, senior development manager at HUB, said: “2 Snowhill Plaza will be a striking landmark building for Birmingham, with a new public route that will open up this part of the city centre for pedestrians.
