Hundreds of companies failed to report gender pay gap figures by the deadline last Monday.
About 550 companies are estimated to have missed the deadline, and will receive a warning notice.
Organisations with 250 or more employees in the private and voluntary sectors were required to report data by last Monday, and most public sector employers by 30 March.
But filing late does not necessarily mean you have something to hide. AB InBev UK, the brewer, filed a day late and had a 23.7% pay gap – in favour of women.
