Hunter becomes honorary professor

Hunter Advisers’ managing director has been appointed honorary professor of real estate at Heriot-Watt University.

David Hunter will contribute to the university’s housing, urban and real estate research division.

Prior to setting up property consultancy Hunter Advisers, Hunter was the managing director of Aberdeen Asset Management’s property fund business.

Colin Jones, professor of estate management at Heriot-Watt, said: “Hunter is a recognised industry leader, based in Scotland but with global experience. We will benefit from access to his commercial and perceptive approach to UK and overseas real estate markets.”
