Unilever Superannuation Fund has sold the freehold on Royal Clarence House in Bridgwater, Somerset, for £1.4m. Hunting Gate bought the investment at 9.25% initial yield on behalf of an undisclosed client.
The mixed office/retail property has five retail units let to, amongst others, Mothercare and New Look. Southern Newspapers occupy the upper floor offices and all the leases have about 15 years remaining.
