Hurlingham Retail Park revamp gets green light

Royal London Asset Management and developer Londonewcastle have won permission from the London borough of Hammersmith & Fulham for the £250m redevelopment of Hurlingham Retail Park, SW6.


The proposed 500,000 sq ft development will comprise 242 residential plus 35,000 sq ft of retail and leisure space. The 2.5-acre site is located between Hurlingham Park and the Harbour Club in Fulham.


Drew Watkins, senior fund manager at Royal London Asset Management, said: “The Hurlingham Retail Park represents an excellent opportunity to deliver a first-class development in a prime London riverside location. We have appointed consultants who are best in class and we are very pleased with the quality of the design and how they have met the stringent requirements of the planning authority.”


CBRE is acting as development agent and project manager.


RLAM has £2.86bn of assets under management as of 31 December 2013.
