Cannon Place, the 400,000 sq ft City office block completed by Hines and Network Rail in 2011, is now 75% let after agreeing a deal with a serviced office provider.
i2 Office has agreed a 15-year lease for 25,000 sq ft on the fourth floor of the building above Cannon Street Station, EC4.
A rent of £60 per sq ft has been agreed.
The company joins tenants including the CBI, Threadneedle Investments and law firm CMS Cameron McKenna.
Philip Grace, founder and chief executive of i2 Office, said: “Cannon Place is an impressive new building in a prime location with excellent transport links. These factors make it an ideal site for i2 Office to increase its capacity for clients in the City.”
Ross Blair, senior managing director at Hines, added: “i2 Office represents an excellent addition to Cannon Place and will give a wider range of companies the opportunity to be based at the building.”
Cannon Place will be i2 Office’s 11th London location. The group’s City portfolio includes 60 Gresham Street, EC2.
CBRE and Savills represented Hines; JLL acted for i2 Office.
