ICI is seeking planning consent to for a massive 464,500 sq m (5m sq ft) business and distribution park at Western Approach, to the north west of Bristol.
The proposed scheme is the second phase of ICI’s redevelopment of land near Severn Beach. The new business park will be built on 145ha (358 acres)of open farmland sandwiched between the M49 and Severn Beach railway station.
ICI wants to build factories for light and general industrial use and distribution warehouses.
The chemical giant previously built a distribution park as the first phase of development. It has since been let to Great Mills and Matthew Clark.
King Sturge is advising ICI.
