Alder King is seeking tenants for Campus XXI at Delabole in Cornwall.
The 24,228 sq ft building is adjacent to Britain’s first commercial wind farm and has a distinctive design, curved roof and energy saving features that could attract a diverse pool of occupiers.
Built in 2001, the property has its own roof-mounted PV electricity supply, a solar water heating system, a private fresh water borehole, grey water recycling system, heating and cooling via four heat pumps, and an airtight seal across the entire building to reduce heat loss.
Guide rent is around £100,000 per annum.
Tom Duncan, associate at Alder King’s Truro office, said: “This is a unique and distinctive building that offers great flexibility. While most recently used as an educational establishment, the layout can be successfully adapted to suit an incoming occupier’s needs.”
