The International Council of Shopping Centers has established an ICSC Ukraine Steering Group in support of the country’s growing retail real estate industry.
ICSC Europe is also supporting a City Evolution exhibition to be held in Kiev from 14-15 October at the city’s Palats Sportu. ICSC Europe will contribute a keynote member speaker to introduce ICSC in the Ukraine.
The retail body will host a pavilion and hold an open panel session where attendees can find out more about how the ICSC can support members and their companies.
Phillipe Beurtheret, director at Immochan Ukraine, will chair the steering group. He said: “This is a great opportunity to promote the significant development and investment opportunities in the Ukraine to the wider world. This country needs investment and we certainly have the opportunities for global players to make their mark.”
City Evolution director Elena Vdovenko said: “This is our greatest achievement in the retail property segment this year. The forming of the steering group opens lots of new opportunities and lets us bring together local and international developers and retailers.”
Ukraine’s leading development companies will also present their completed and ongoing residential and retail property projects at the City Evolution exhibition.
