The identity of the new owner of the Ritz can finally be revealed.
Companies House filings show that the new owner of the luxury hotel on Piccadilly is Abdulhadi Mana Al-Hajri.
The 40-year-old has some useful connections, as well as £700m to spend on a trophy asset. His sister is the second wife of Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber al-Thani, otherwise know as the Emir of Qatar.
Filings also show that Al-Hajri owns an expensive riverside mansion in Turkey through a UK investment company.
