IDI Gazeley has signed a 55,898 sq ft build-to-suit, state-of-the-art parcel hub for international business-to-business delivery and logistics company TNT at G Park, Swindon.
Construction of the new facility is expected to take 24 weeks, with the facility scheduled to become fully operational by Q3 2015.
The development will serve as a specialist regional parcel distribution hub for TNT’s expanding delivery business serving deliveries throughout Swindon and the South West.
IDI Gazeley UK head Nigel Godfrey said: “We are very pleased to have been chosen by TNT to develop this important new, state-of-the-art parcel delivery distribution warehouse under construction at G Park Swindon. The continued rise of online retailing brings with it the growing requirement for new specialist logistics and distribution facilities for global customers such as TNT.”
G.Park Swindon comprises of a 98-acre site near junction 15 of the M4 motorway.
