IDI Gazeley has entered the Netherlands market after acquiring 13 logistics warehouses in the country.
The portfolio was purchased from Dutch fund Eurindustrial for around €110m (£80m) and covers 2m sq ft across Amsterdam, Venlo and Venray.
IDI chief acquisitions officer Nick Cook said: “This major portfolio acquisition gives us a great platform from which to build our presence in the Netherlands and increases our assets under management considerably.
“Notably, this transaction demonstrates our ability to develop a scale operation quickly in new geographies from which we will serve both existing and new customers.”
The buildings have a high occupancy rate and are leased to clients including Syncreon, Canon, ND Logistics and UPS.
