UK Commercial Property Trust, the UK property investment trust managed by Ignis Real Estate, has confirmed its purchase of St George’s retail park in Leicester from a fund managed by JP Morgan Asset Management for £49.9m.
The 165,419 sq ft retail park is multilet to tenants including Wickes, PC World, Currys, Comet, Aldi, Pets at Home, Next, Brantano, Toys r Us, Mothercare and KFC.
The current gross annual rent is around £3.1m, with rents ranging from £16.15 to £26.66 per sq ft.
BNP Paribas Real Estate and Sanders Cartwright represented the buyer.
