Ikea is keen to expand the number of its stores in the UK after sales rose by 11.3% this year to £1.4bn, even though the bulk of that growth was online.
Online sales grew by 27% and now account for a tenth of the business, but Ikea has said that it still wants to open more physical stores, in addition to planned openings in Reading, Exeter, Greenwich and Sheffield.
