Ikea is in talks with BHS to house one of its smaller-format order-and-collection stores at BHS’s Oxford Street site.
A spokesman for the Swedish furniture retailer said it was reviewing potential sites for stores, and was seriously considering the BHS building. BHS has appointed Cushman & Wakefield to sublet parts of the store, but will keep its head office in the first floor.
Ikea recently opened a first order-and-collection store in Norwich, and plans a second in Aberdeen next spring.
