Ikea is in talks to take space in BHS’s store on Oxford Street, and could sublet the ground floor of the building, according to people with knowledge of the matter.
The Swedish furniture retailer confirmed that the Oxford Street site was one of a number of potential UK locations being investigated.
The space would be used for a click-and-collect store.
