Danish store Ilva opened its first British store this week at the Lakeside shopping centre in Essex’s Thurrock, positioning itself as an upmarket IKEA.
Another store will open in Manchester in September and a third in Gateshead by the end of the year. The company aimes to have 20 outlets in Britain within 10 years.
