IM Land has signed a promotion agreement with mineral extraction company Summerleaze at a 40-acre site that could deliver 500 homes.
Spencer’s Farm in Maidenhead is the first in the South East for IM Land, which currently has approximately 6,000 plots under its control. The site is in prime minister Theresa May’s constituency.
Spencer’s Farm is one of the largest of 48 sites allocated in Windsor and Maidenhead’s local plan, which proposes to develop 14,211 homes by 2033.
Jonathan Dyke, strategic land director at IM Land, said: “The need for new homes is undeniable in areas such as Maidenhead, where a lack of supply over recent years has meant that house prices have pushed through the roof.”
IM Land is part of Midlands-based property group IM Properties.
