Impact Healthcare raises funds to pursue pipeline

Impact Healthcare has raised £22.3m through a share issue.

The REIT, which focuses on care homes, issued 19,032,420 new ordinary shares at a price of 117p per share. The new shares will be admitted to the London Stock Exchange on 8 July.

Impact’s chair Rupert Barclay said the issue “will help to grow further our inflation-linked, long-leased REIT”.

He added: “While equity capital market conditions remain challenging, the proceeds of this fundraise will allow the company to progress its acquisition pipeline as well as allowing further scope to invest into additional accretive asset management initiatives, thereby modernising, extending and improving homes in the portfolio for the benefit of shareholders, tenants and their underlying residents.”
