Rifle Club site bagged

ProLogis Developments and Harbour Property Group have bought the famous Rifle Club site between the North Circular and Abbey Road in Park Royal, NW10. A 90,000 sq ft distribution HQ is planned at the 4.4-acre site. Holley Blake and solicitor Wragge & Co advised ProLogis.

Peel Centre adds two tenants

Peel Investments has signed two more retailers to the Peel Centre shopping park in Stockport. It has let the former 10,000 sq ft Homebase unit to Argos, while Borders Books has taken 18,000 sq ft, both at rents of £25 per sq ft. FPDSavills and Chase & Partners acted for Peel. JLL represented Borders.

Compco does the double

Compco has sold 13-16 Jacobs Well Mews, W1, to Grosvenor Securities for £4.25m, a yield of 7.8%. The 9,000 sq ft building is let to a subsidiary of WPP for 15 years from March 2001. Compco has also sold 35-45 New Oxford Street, 16-18 West Central Street and 10-12 Museum Street, W1, to Golfrate for £10.1m. James Andrew International acted for Grosvenor Securities. Compco was advised by Michael Elliott.

Brewery taps into FPDSavills

FPDSavills has been appointed to manage the Brewery in Romford by joint owners Henderson Global Investors and Equitable Life. The Brewery provides 510,000 sq ft of retail and leisure and generates rents of around £7.6m pa.

DevSec’s £3.7m S’thampton deal

Development Securities has bought Unit P at Southampton International Park for £3.7m – an 8.1% yield. The building is let to Regus at £313,000 pa.
