BNP PRE may shut its Edinburgh office
BNP Paribas Real Estate is considering closing its Edinburgh office. The firm is understood to be in consultation with several fee earners in its office at 20 Charlotte Square, which opened in 1992. Some employees could be moved to the Glasgow office, which opened in 2015.
Savills attracts C&W partners
Savills has poached three Cushman & Wakefield partners to join its retail investment team. Stuart Moncur, head of C&W’s national team, and Isla Monteith, a partner in the Scottish retail team, are moving to Savills’ Scottish retail team based in Edinburgh. James Stratton will join Savills’ London team based in Margaret Street, W1.
Ludiman lured by Knight Dragon
Knight Dragon has appointed former Capital & Counties investment director Andrew Ludiman to oversee commercial deals at the £8.4bn redevelopment of Greenwich Peninsula, SE10. Ludiman, who previously worked on CapCo’s Earl’s Court regeneration plan, is due to start his new role as investment director in early September.
Knivett to join CBRE’s City team
CBRE has poached Jack Knivett from BNP Paribas Real Estate as a director in its City leasing team. Knivett had been at BNP PRE for two years and was previously at Farebrother. He follows City investment specialists Richard Garside and James Hiatt, who left BNP PRE in February to become executive director and senior director, respectively, at CBRE.
