St James’s rents have hit the £40 per sq ft mark with Inchcape’s preletting of St James’s House in King Street, SW1.
The developers, CIN Properties, will start work on the 35,000-sq ft scheme next month. Healey & Baker were the letting agents for the development.
Inchcape will be moving from the City, where they are currently based at 40 St Mary Axe, EC3. Last July the City refused Inchcape permission to demolish their 1920s building, designed by Sir Edwin Cooper, and replace it with 53,800 sq ft of new offices.
