Incipio secures four new restaurants to join £1.3bn Kensington Olympia revamp

Events operator Incipio Group has signed four new restaurants at Yoo Capital and Deutsche Finance International’s £1.3bn Olympia redevelopment, W14.

Last summer, Incipio Group signed the deal with the landlord to take 39,000 sq ft across the development for F&B offerings. Now Incipio Group has signed four new restaurants, Arbour, Wolves of Tokyo, Lillie’s and Juno across One Olympia way and L2 North / South foodhall and National Terrace.

Bar-led concept Arbour has taken 15,000 sq ft at L2 while Wolves of Tokyo and Lillie’s have taken a combined of 13,076 sq ft. At One Olympia way, Italian restaurant Juno will take 10,793 sq ft. All the leases are signed on a 20-year term.

Last week, the Premier League agreed to a 20-year lease for 73,000 sq ft office space in 550,000 sq ft One Olympia way for its new in-house media HQ.

The 14-acre development, which is expected to open later this year, will offer a mix of entertainment, hospitality and cultural spaces, including: a 1,575-seat theatre; a 4,000-capacity music venue; over 30 restaurants, bars and eateries; two new hotels; and a boutique gym, operated by 1Rebel.

Deutsche Finance International and Yoo Capital acquired the Olympia London exhibition centre from Capital & Counties for £296m in 2017. The site is being redeveloped into a Heatherwick Studio and SPPARC-designed cultural, entertainment and business hub with a projected annual footfall of 10 million.

ETCH acted for Incipio on this deal; CBRE acted for landlord.
