Fairview Holdings management have won support for a £307m bid to take the south-east housebuilder private led by founder Dennis Cope.
It won support from independent directors and shareholders by increasing its cash offer for a second time from 175p to 180p a share. The management team is making the offer under the name General London Constructors.
The company turned in pretax profit up 38% to £31m on turnover up 49% to £118m in the half-year to the end of June.
