Indurent submits application for 2.3m sq ft employment hub

Indurent has submitted an outline planning application for 2.3m sq ft of logistics and employment space across six development zones near the M6 motorway in Staffordshire.

Designed to meet a minimum of BREEAM Excellent and EPC A+ standards, the new units will provide energy-efficient workspace to support high-growth sectors.

Strategically positioned near Junction 16 of the M6 and A500, the site offers direct access to key regional and national transport corridors, connecting the North West, Midlands and Wales.

The development will also include a dedicated lorry park, walking and cycling routes and extensive woodland planting, including more than 100,000 new trees and shrubs planted on site.

Damien Holdstock, planning director at Indurent, said: “Our plan represents a major investment in the West Midlands’ regional economy, delivering thousands of new jobs, while taking a landscape-led approach that opens up access to green space for the local community.”
