A celebration of the life of Stewart Barlow, a partner at Cushman & Wakefield, is being held on Monday 23 April following his death from a brain tumour.
Barlow joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2006 having worked previously at Nelson Bakewell, Rogers Chapman and Gooch Webster after graduating with a BSc in urban estate management from Kingston University in 1999.
During his career, Barlow worked on a series of landmark transactions including acquiring Celgene’s HQ at Stockley Park, selling Hillswood Business Park for Electronic Arts and acquiring space at Chiswick Park and Stockley Park for IMG.
Outside work, he was a passionate sportsman who enjoyed mountain biking, snow-boarding and especially rugby, gaining more than 150 first XV caps for Richmond FC, of which he was also made a vice president in recognition of his service.
Barlow’s funeral will be held at 2pm on 23 April at Mortlake Crematorium in Richmond, followed by drinks and refreshments at Richmond Athletic Ground. His wife Charlotte has extended the invitation to those in the property industry who knew him.
