Landmark Information, a member of the Daily Mail & General Trust, has acquired Prodat Systems, supplier of ProMap software, an delivery system for large-scale Ordnance Survey mapping.
The companies’ operations will be merged to provide property-based and environmental information to professional users.
Landmark, a subsidiary of DMG Information, produces site-specific environmental reports for landowners and consultants. It aims to deliver a range of search services on paper, CD-ROM, DVD and the internet.
Bob Fairchild, managing director of the merged business, said: “We believe Promap customers will welcome easy access to environmental data, and Landmark’s customers can certainly use instant access to OS mapping”.
