Infrared hires specialists for Europe

Fund manager Infrared Capital Partners, which was recently spun out of HSBC, has added three real estate specialists to its European team.

Former Frogmore fund accountant Simon Stringer has joined as head of financial management in the finance team, where his role will involve taxation and financial due diligence, deal structuring, sourcing and monitoring bank financings and investor reporting.

Cedric Vallin (pictured) from AEW Europe joins as an investment executive within the origination team. He will be primarily responsible for sourcing investments in the French market, but also supporting origination efforts across other target markets, such as Germany, the UK and Poland, for InfraRed’s European Real Estate business.

Finally Keith Butcher has joined from Threadneedle Property Investments as an investment director within the asset management team. He will have responsibility for all aspects of asset management focusing on the retail sector.
