InfraRed sells Cologne Tower for £87m

Office-conference-table-THUMB.gifInfraRed Capital Partners has sold the Cologne Tower in Cologne, Germany, for €110m (£87m).

Canadian investor Dream Global REIT bought the 290,626 sq ft, 43-storey office tower.

InfraRed has also sold the adjacent 217-room, four-star NH Hotel to Internos Hotel Real Estate Fund for €29.5m (£23m).

Joram Szerkowski, real estate investment head for Germany at InfraRed, said: “The high quality of the building, its core location combined with the extensive modernisation works we undertook allowed us to reduce vacancy, improve the unexpired lease length and thus reposition the tower as a core asset.”

InfraRed was advised by JLL and lawyers Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP.
