
FINANCE: ING and German bank LBBW have provided a £325m loan for the refinancing of the 412,000 sq ft Sea Containers House, SE1, on the South Bank of the Thames.
The property, owned by Archlane, has recently been refurbished and comprises a 359-bedroom Mondrian hotel and 290,000 sq ft of offices fully let to tenants including Ogilvy & Mather, WeWork and Puma.
The pair said that the debt would not be syndicated but declined to disclose other details on the debt.
Prior to its refurbishment ING, with Berlin-Hannoverische Hypothekenbank, had in 2011 provided a loan of £120m on the property.
