ING Real Estate Development has unveiled proposals for the redevelopment of Kings Triangle in Maidenhead, Berkshire.
ING’s proposals will provide 226,000 sq ft of retail, car park, new homes and, potentially, offices on a 4.7-acre site.
ING will submit an outline planning application for the Kings Triangle masterplan to the council later this year.
It follows the signing of a development agreement between ING and the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead for a retail-led, mixed-use development on the site.
Tim Webb, ING’s development director, said: “The town already has significant potential and this will only be reinforced by the arrival of Crossrail. Our proposals, which can be delivered a couple of years before Crossrail opens, will also significantly strengthen the town centre and will bring more people and businesses into Maidenhead.”
Knight Frank and SNR Delton advised the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead; Montagu Evans and Olswang advised ING.
