Inland Homes chief executive steps down suddenly

The chief executive of housebuilder Inland Homes has suddenly left the company, 42 days after he was appointed to the position.

Donagh O’Sullivan, formerly chief executive of Galliard Homes, started his role at Inland Homes on 6 December. Before that, he was chairman at children’s charity Barretstown.

Inland Homes confirmed that O’Sullivan has resigned from the group “with immediate effect by mutual agreement”, adding that he has stepped down from the board.

He started his career at Galliard Homes where he spent 21 years, working his way up to chief executive in 2017. He left Galliard in March last year.

Shares at Inland Homes have dropped by more than 15.5% to around 18p this afternoon, ahead of market close.
