Inland Homes wins planning for 1,525-home Hounslow scheme
Inland Homes has gained planning consent for a 1,525-home mixed-used scheme at Cavalry Barracks in Hounslow, west London.
The 36.7-acre scheme will also include approximately 30,000 sq ft of commercial space.
The development is part of Inland Homes’ asset management division, meaning that it is being managed on behalf of external investors, with Inland collecting the fees.

The site, one of London’s largest remaining brownfield sites, also benefits from excellent transport links to both central London and Heathrow airport.
Affordable homes will account for 35% of the development, while 14 Grade II listed and nine locally listed buildings will be retained and brought back to use.
The scheme will also provide 10.6 acres of open space.
With the consent granted, the group is now supporting the external investors on the disposal strategy and delivery options for the site.
Nish Malde, interim chief executive at Inland Homes, said: “For a site of this historical significance and scale, this clearly demonstrates Inland Homes’ success in working collaboratively with local councils to secure planning consent on complex brownfield sites.”
