Inland Homes has entered a £57m deal with London BTR for the second tranche of its 1,725-home scheme in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire.
The 205-home phase 1B of Inland’s Cheshunt Lakeside development will now be built out by Inland Partnerships, the group’s construction division.
The deal brings Inland’s forward order book for partnerships to £219.7m, with 1,513 homes under construction on behalf of its partners. It is the second deal Inland has struck with London BTR, which bought 355 private homes at the former Homebase site in Walthamstow, E17, last year.
Inland has also secured planning for 131 homes and 20,000 sq ft of commercial space at its Thames Road site in Barking, east London.
Chief executive Stephen Wicks said: “We are delighted to announce the land and build sale at Cheshunt Lakeside, as well as the granting of the planning permission at Thames Road, Barking. These projects demonstrate how the group is continuing to make further tangible progress in the delivery of our strategic objectives – reducing our net debt and growing both our partnership housing and asset management areas of the business.”
