Inrev has appointed Casper Hesp has its new chief executive.
Hesp joins from Achmea Real Estate, where he was director of investment management.
The move is a return for Hesp, who was director of research and marketing for the body for several of the seven years he spent there between 2007 and 2014.
Inrev chairman Martin Lemke said: “Casper has a proven track record of success as a leader of change. His breadth of experience will be of significant benefit to Inrev as we continue to help the European non-listed real estate industry adapt to the challenges and opportunities of the future.”
Hesp said: “As a former Inrev member, I have witnessed first-hand how the association has helped shape the industry to date. Now I very much look forward to working closely with the management board, the wider Inrev team and members, and to guiding the association through the next phase of its evolution.”
Hesp will take up his new post on 1 October.
