The Sunday Times’s Inside Story provides insight into the secretive Noble Organisation, owner of Brighton Pier.
The newspaper describes the people behind the organisation, which also owns amusement arcades, casinos and tanning salons, as one of the wealthiest and most publicity shy business dynasties in Britain. Family divisions appeared when one of the brothers that run the group, Michael, died six years ago, his widow, Gill, inherited most of the properties and Philip took the operating business.
