Internet hotels boom

Internet hotels, or co-location centres, are booming.

They could cover 4.6m sq m (50m sq ft) within 10 years.

London-based City-Reach is planning 20 such buildings by the end of next year; Redbus is planning a 4,645 sq m (50,000 sq ft) facility; IXguardian has a £50m, 17,651 sq m (190,000 sq ft) centre planned near Heathrow and IP Powerhouse is planning to launch into the premium end of the market.
