The £70m extension to Royal & Sun Alliance’s Eastgate shopping centre in Inverness opened to the public this morning.
The 200,000 sq ft (18,580 sq m) expansion of the Highlands’ major shopping destination increases the overall size to 410,000 sq ft (38,089 sq m).
The scheme, which is asset managed by ISIS Property, opens its doors 80% let and anchored by a 96,500 sq ft (8,965 sq m) Debenhams department store.
Eastgate has also signed tenants including H&M, Mango, New Look, Warner Bros, Principles, Warehouse, Ottakar’s, USC, Game, PizzaExpress, Laura Ashley, Barretts, Quiz, La Senza, Schuh and most recently H Samuel, East and Claire’s among its lineup.
The upper mall is 100% let, with remaining units on the lower mall.
CB Hillier Parker and Cushman & Wakefield Healey & Baker act for ISIS Property on the remaining units.
