Investec funds Fulham resi

Investec Structured Property Finance has agreed a 24-month, £30m loan to Meyer Homes for a residential and retail development in Fulham, SW6.

The development on Fulham High Street will include 48 flats, six of which are affordable, and 10 townhouses.

The townhouses are expected to go on sale for more than £2m each, while 90% of the flats will be less than £1m.

Stephen Martin, part of the new business team at Investec Structured Property Finance, said: “The opportunity to partner with a globally funded real estate developer such as Meyer Homes on a prestige development in a strong location and at attainable pricing, is a welcome one.

“2017 is likely to see plenty of opportunities for flexible and innovative lenders like ourselves to work alongside ambitious developers such as Meyer Homes to deliver schemes like this one and take advantage of a reduced supply of this type of product.”

Construction has begun and is expected to finish by Q2 2018.
