Knight Frank has expanded its recently opened Birmingham office with the appointment of Andrew Brazier from King Sturge & Co as investment partner.
Brazier will be heading up the investment department in KF’s Birmingham office and, with his arrival, the number of fee earners in the office will go up to seven.
Charles Smith, partner in charge of Knight Frank Birmingham, was unavailable for comment but Brazier is believed to be joining the firm in April.
Brazier, who has been with King Sturge & Co in Birmingham for five years, has been involved in the disposal of the Royal Mail Automated Processing Office in Wolverhampton and the recent sale of Banbury Business Park to PDFM.
Brazier’s move is symptomatic of the market in Birmingham in recent months as national firms have sought to establish themselves in the city with key figures in the local market.
Knight Frank is one of several firms which has been in the market for investment surveyors in Birmingham. FPD Savills is also thought to be looking for an investment surveyor to join its new office which is thought to be opening in the city this year.
